About

My name is Nicolas, I studied electrical engineering and financial engineering in university. My goal is to share what I learn from the books I read.

I read the books so you don’t have to

Key ideas, main insights, and practical takeaways from books that actually matter, in minutes instead of hours.

This is my dream: to read books for a living, think deeply about them, and turn them into clear, useful knowledge you can actually apply right away.

Start with a popular book summary or my latest book summary.

What is KeynoteBooks?

KeynoteBooks is a curated collection of book summaries, insights, and key ideas from nonfiction books focused on wealth, mindset, performance, strategy, and meaningful living.

I don’t summarize everything. I try to focus on books worth your attention and extract what truly matters.

Each keynote is designed to give you the core ideas of the book, the mental models behind them, and the practical takeaways you can use right now.

Why this exists?

I love reading.

But more than that, I love connecting ideas, questioning assumptions, and turning complexity into clarity. Over time, this led to a simple realization: most books contain a handful of powerful ideas buried inside hundreds of pages.

I was reading all these books anyways and thought that it would be useful to share with everyone. KeynoteBooks is the result of that obsession.

How this is different from all the others?

These are not generic, chapter-by-chapter summaries.

Every keynote is written as if I were taking notes for myself. I focus on what is genuinely insightful, what can be reused across life, money, and decision-making, and what is simply noise.

You get the essence of the book without losing the depth.

Who this is for?

KeynoteBooks is for you if you love learning but don’t have the time to read everything, if you want clear thinking rather than motivational fluff, and if you care about wealth, mindset, performance, and living well.

If books matter to you but time is limited, you’re in the right place.

How to use KeynoteBooks?

There is no prescribed order.

Pick a book.
Read a keynote.
Take what is useful.
Leave the rest.

Come back whenever curiosity strikes again.

Browse all summaries
Read the latest keynote

I might eventually prepare learning plans on which books to read in what order on specific topics but not for the moment.

KeynoteBooks offers thoughtful book summaries and distilled insights from nonfiction books on investing, mindset, personal growth, and strategy, designed for readers who value clarity over volume and actionable ideas.
